| Identification | Maxilla toothed. Coronoid process of lower jaw lower than in H. farsonensis. Intercornual concavity of mesethmoid weak or absent. |
| General Remarks | Lived in freshwater with suckers (Catostomidae) and mooneyes (Hiodontidae). Presence of crocodilian teeth, cycads, palms and banana relatives indicates a tropical or subtropical environment. |
