Type Locality Chile.

Size 240mm (9.4") SL. Find near, nearer or same sized spp.
General Remarks CLOFFSCA makes a note to say that Eigenmann (1927) reports a 407 mm long species, (not specified if SL or TL).

Distribution South America: Chile (Originally throughout most of Central Chile between present cities of Valparaiso in the North and Osorno in the South. Currently restricted to a few spots mainly in Concepcion, Rancagua and Angol).
