Overview The first spawn was on Thursday 27th of January 2011. The breeding group consisted of 1 male and 1 female. The smallest male was at least 75mm SL and the smallest female was at least 90mm SL. The youngest adult was approximately 80 months old. The individuals were obtained from Two different LFS's..

Lighting Part of a 5ft Wickes fluorescent fitting.
Heating None - next to two other tanks heated to 26°C
Down Breeding
Behaviour Female enters cave, male goes in behind, trapping female.
Eggs There were 80 orange eggs laid which were 3.0mm in diameter.

Fry and juvenile feeding Fed with same food as parents. Mix of fresh vegetables (courgette, sweet potato), tablet food (JBL Novo Pleco XL and JBL Novo Tabs), and very rarely frozen daphnia.
