Down Basics
Overview The first spawn was on Tuesday 7th of August 2012. The breeding group consisted of 6 males and 6 females. Additionally, there were 15 unknown individuals present. The youngest adult was approximately 8 months old. The individuals were obtained from Maverick77 (Aquabid).

Down Breeding
Behaviour Sponge filter no heater. Spawned after cold water change temperatures are normally around 76f, but, water change with straight cold water brings temperatures to about 72f. Spawning activity occurs generally the next morning and continues throughout the day. Males chase females relentlessly while spawning; eggs adhered to intake of HOB filter and corners by sponge filter. Spawning was typical Cory "T" behavior, although several fish seemed to take part and the female or females don't seem to be picky on which males fertilize.
Eggs There were 37 clearish tan eggs laid which were 0.0mm in diameter.
Segregation Eggs are moved to small plastic tote with parent tank water and 5 drops of Meth blue, air is provided by 4 air stones at each corner to keep eggs circulating. babies are moved to a 55 gallon grown out tank when aprox 1/4"
