| Overview | The first spawn was on Monday 5th of January 2015. The breeding group consisted of 4 males and 2 females. The smallest male was at least 80mm SL and the smallest female was at least 80mm SL. The youngest adult was approximately 36 months old. The individuals were obtained from Beldt's Hatchery. | |||

| Behaviour | Cave was always an elevated cave, placed high in the tank. Also, they seemed to prefer a side entrance-style of cave to spawn in. The most recent spawn was in a D shape terra cotta cave, glued to the top of a pile of black slate, about 1/2 way up in the water column. | |||
| Eggs | There were 20 yellow eggs laid which were 0.0mm in diameter. | |||

| Segregation | I did not remove fry or parents, just left them in the tank. The babies left the cave gradually, and sought shelter elsewhere in the tank, usually underneath small pieces of driftwood on the bottom of the tank. | |||
