Overview | The first spawn was on Tuesday 1st of December 2015. The breeding group consisted of 3 males and 2 females. The smallest male was at least 75mm SL and the smallest female was at least 77mm SL. The youngest adult was approximately 54 months old. The individuals were obtained from A pet store and a pleco keeper. |

Breeding |
Behaviour | Standard. Male traps female for 1 to 2 days and then broods the eggs and young. Spawning often triggered by a water change |
Eggs | There were 30 golden yellow eggs laid which were 4.5mm in diameter. |

Segregation | Young were generally left with the adults until the yolk sac was absorbed and then they were removed and reared separately. |
