Fertilised eggs will turn a light tan colour with a darker nucleus and hatch in 3-5 days depending on temperature. Any plastic container will do as long as it will float with the water (and eggs) in it. In the UK 2ltr (about 2 quarts in the US) tubs measure approx. 9"x6"x3" deep. :win...

:wink: Certainly look like Cory eggs, a bit big for Otocinclus. They look fine, no fungus (yet!). I'd remove the eggs to a 2ltr ice cream tub in about 40mm of tank water, add an airstone and float the tub in the tank they came from. I usually add some Java Moss too, helps keep the water "sweet&...

May I suggest some sort of cover ie plants, bogwood, caves etc. The fish will feel more secure and more likely to breed if they are mature. Mac.

This is Trilineatus as far as I know. It has a reticulated pattern whereas Julii has spots Mac.

Not had a chance to use the Aquarian tabs 'til recently but all my Cories love them. They were a bit reluctant at first (as usual with different food) but now scoff them with gusto! I'm also feeding a batch of Sterbai fry with microworm and crushed tablets (they're much easier to powder than flake)....

I would suggest that the board is just fine with Catfish only. There are many forums out there that cater for fish in general. Mac.

Both aeneus and paleatus are easy to breed, including albino versions. Mostly all of these fish in shops are captive bred and will spawn easily.
You will require optimum water conditions, the fish mature and well fed and males and females (obviuosly) Mac.
