Hi this zeb might have the first stages of bloat or digestive problems this also makes the body look a different shape but I hope I am wrong.

I always thought fish have no ears and in fact they detect only movement through their lateral line so a noisy filter will not affect the fish only the vibrations true?.
So noisy filter is acceptable to them yes?

Just to add if in the water in a bucket they also could need air line this also helps mix the two types of water and a spare heater when acclimatizing over long periods of time then this allows you a lot more than 2 hours to do the job and no worries.

Here is one I do,not on that list and it is ....Never put after shave on till I'm going out the door in case need to put hands in the tanks.
Bet some people don't do that and that should be a fish keeper thing.

Apart from my fish I have 2 North American pine snakes Sid and Cinthia I don't set them to mate though they live together had them about 10+years love them.
