Re: My special zebra pl*co

Hi this zeb might have the first stages of bloat or digestive problems this also makes the body look a different shape but I hope I am wrong.
Here is one of mine last stages of bloat, died soon after.

Hi YSR50 When I try to access it from mine and other computers I get no luck all I get is its an attack site and blocked. Re: Does too much noise = stressed fish?

Hi
I always thought fish have no ears and in fact they detect only movement through their lateral line so a noisy filter will not affect the fish only the vibrations true?. :foggie:
So noisy filter is acceptable to them yes?
But not us.

Re: Acclimating large plecos

Hi
Just to add if in the water in a bucket they also could need air line this also helps mix the two types of water and a spare heater when acclimatizing over long periods of time then this allows you a lot more than 2 hours to do the job and no worries.

Hi
Here is one I do,not on that list and it is ....Never put after shave on till I'm going out the door in case need to put hands in the tanks.
Bet some people don't do that and that should be a fish keeper thing.

Re: Picture Request

Hi Fish
Just a thought but might be worth you putting a picture up of your tank as it is and would get a better idea of the over all picture for someone to help.
Also what fish you intend to keep in the tank.

Hope this helps.

Now all fry hatch after removing them,I remove them the day before they are due to hatch. But ...

Hi Haavard I have been looking at your eggs for some time now and at the stage they are at(it is hard to explain but here goes)think of the egg as a hard ball on the outside and a very very soft one on the inside now this has a embryo on it so when you look at it the inner soft egg should stay aprox...
