looks like open sores to me, if he's scraping on rocks or gravel. for stuff like that i use e.m. erythromycin which is an antibacterial treatment. good luck.

It is true that the pleco (Jerky) has been aggressive to other species, like bettas and other fish.

It seems the other cories get fat and decide not to move again until they are hungry. The albino cory is a lot more active, even though he's alone.

Hello everyone,
I wasn't really sure of where to put this since it relates to 2 species,so I'll just put it here. Is there a set instinct in plecos to fight striped raphaels?

Hello everyone, I know that cories prefer to live in groups, but my cory always seemed a bit off and solitary. I put them in with some emerald greens, but he just does his own thing. Is it possible that their personalities affect whether they want to live alone or in groups? Any response is apprecia...

Thanks for that. I've used melafix which actually poisons more than it helps.

Breeding Bristlenoses

Hi All,
I have a male albino bristlenose and I would like to breed it. I have looked for a female (preferably regular pigmentation)but I've had trouble finding one that is not a baby. Is it possible to sex a juvenile bristlenose? My male is pretty aggressive.
