All to common unfortunately. I was tipped off and nailed a seller using a half dozen or so of my pics for auctions on aquabid without permission, in many cases not even particularly good ones. my pics just started showing up on google recently, I have a feeling it'll happen a few more times.

The possibility of problem with fish never really occured to me when I thought about collecting trips... I would tend to worry more about poisonous snakes, or getting sick. Suppose things are much different when you're there though.

linksys, you can't own a tigrinus that's small enough to be ok in half a 29 gallon, they don't come that small. smallest I've seen is like 4 inches, perhaps down to 3 but... they need room to move about. Yours is at 5 inches and really needs like, a 55 minimum in my opinion.

Yes, the sea snails from the bottom of the tank... ;)

Couldn't help myself. For the fish it probably wouldn't have to be something the same size, just anything over like 6 or 8 inches would probably be fine, I'd think. But my niger's only about 8 inches at the moment, so I'm only guessing.

An undergravel filter would actually increase the substrate vacuuming needed to keep the tank clean. Undergravel filters use the substrate as the mechanical filtration, as well as biological, thereby trapping waste in the gravel, pulling it down into it, and it can collect underneath. These things c...

Undergravel filters work. They require very diligent gravel vacuuming though. IMO other filters are easier and more effective. keeping gravel and adding a penguin 120 or so on the back would be what I'd do, personally. Other options are sponge filters, cannister filters, or reverse UGF filters, with...
