I'm looking to get some Java moss for my tanks, but can't seem to locate any from snail-free sources.

Any suggestions?

Thanks Ian.
They're currently on a diet of tablet and pellets with flake (also for the neons that share the tank). They get occasional (once - twice a week freeze dried bloodwork or tubiflex), I'm scheduled to go to the LFS in the morning so I'll pick some of each up.

C. concolor growths?

Iâ??ve got a query about some odd growths on a few of my C. concolor. They are located on the underside of the fish and are small (1-2mm) white-ish with grey tinge in colour, and appear to be jelly like. At first I thought they were eggs, as they are on the underside, close to or on the anal and pel...

Well Iâ??ve ordered the book, and it should be arriving in the next couple of weeks. I finally set the tank up at the weekend, the sand took ages to wash â?? even though it was a small amount! I think Iâ??ll introduce a few of my BA tetras first and let them mature the tank. Then Iâ??ll have to pick...

For those that are at all interested - the tank measures 120x50x52cm Glass is 0.7cm thick (***Just realised this may be thicker - as I measured the bit showing at each corner.) So that's approx 118.6 x 48.6 x 51.3 (to waterline)cm Thin layer of sand is now used as substrate - so I think 10% is a bit...

Thanks Larry, I know it would be sensible to start with the more common species of Cory's but I have purchased the fish I keep for a reason - I think they're cool! I take the cube in my fingers, lowers it down in the tank to the bottom where the front glass meets the sand, and there I really squeeze hard with my index finger to make it stick to the glass. The cube is almost flat (or half the thickness) when I'm done. When you squeeze, lots of tiny air bubbles...
