I'm positive these are hybrids, there's only the 2 species in the tank. Both are breeding all the time and I've just noticed half grown fish with a stripey C. diphyes tail some speckling on the body and the dark mask and tail blotch of C. panda. Trying to get a decent picture.

Yes. I believe the breeder was able to produce only 8 after years of trying. Still, a pretty amazing achievement. The same breeder produces fairly large batches of Platydoras armulatus on a regular basis.

Just wondering what temperature you keep the tanks on? I noticed you had Lnos and Cories in together, I've always avoided this because I thought the temps they both require were incompatible...how does it work for you?

Thanks Marc :D I'm really glad the others are compatible as I really want Hoplos and/or Dianema cats. I understand the ornatus, Pterygoplichthys and Flagtails will get quite large. I'm not really sold on the idea of Flagtails anyway, large, migratory, schooling fish are probably wrong for the larges...
