Re: Aspidoras ID

After some looking around I think it may be C125 or A. spilotus. Any thoughts?

Aspidoras ID

I just recently brought in some aspidoras which were supposed to be aspidoras pauciradiatus, but were not. Now I am trying to figure out what they actually are. They have been in the tank now for 10-15 minutes and are settling in fine and their colors are starting to darken. The only thing that is s...

I recently bought a group of loxo's as well and am very excited about this one. If they are anything like axelrodi spawning, which i have spawned many times, it should be a breeze. My axelrodi sit in a 10 gal tank with floating spawning mops and a sponge filter. They spawn regularily without any tri...

you could try adding floating spawning mops to the tanks.. I find when adding these to the tanks that most of the eggs are laid within the mop, and also prevents them from being eaten

i feed them a combination of earthworm sticks from Ken's Fish and bloodworms and they were spawning every 2-3 weeks for me.

I have a group of these corys right now that seem to spawn as regularily as the normal bronze aeneus. No special care was given to them and now that they have started they seem to spawn every few weeks for me. I think i am currently raising out 3 or 4 spawns of fry from them. They are egg eaters tho...
