Re: Question about L066 "variants"

Natural hybridization, that could be a possiblity. Would be interesting to see the L046xL201 offspring and what is recessive/dominant genes ha. Saul: great for you to chime in and was hoping you were going to :d Do you import any of the hypans species that usually have that usual band around their n...

Re: 29G biocube suggestions?

Thanks guys! I'll keep one for now and keep easy to grow plants that's doesn't demand intensive lighting. I'll stick with the 10,000k if its more crisp as I like that type of lighting myself.

Trade my plecos/catfish N. Burbs Chicagoland area

Really need to reduce the number of hypans right now Have L260 WC male L270 reverse trio, believe one still have ways to go. Other two are mature and ready to be bred right now. one or two pairs of L066, this is really still in limbo due to 100% ID L239 L235 female L340 male L226 group is a possibli...

Re: 29G biocube suggestions?

Maybe I should hold out and wait til later on in the Fall to see the prices on the new stands, but a shelf would do for now. Probably would be plugging it in by the end of next week as I really just can't wait to plug it in and see how insane it looks in the room I'm planning on putting it in. I'll ...

Re: Safe to ship catfish in breather bags?

I think the breather bags are more flexible or am I dreaming? Tho I've not had a seller ship me a catfish or any other fish in a breather bag, as I think they're more pricy per bag than a plastic one. But I have brought a batch of breather bags and sold the fish at the swap meets in the past, it wor...

Re: suggestions 4 smaller pleco that doesn't stay in hiding

I'm not sure about Royals as when I had them they were the average pleco I'll spot everyday in my tank. But the clowns I never see only once in a while. For the most outgoing plecos- it depends on the species and how many of that species or others you got in that tank- its really the combination as ...

Re: 29G biocube suggestions?

I can't bring myself to order a pricy stand for that amount of money when the tank itself was only a fraction of that price. Think I'll just find something else to use instead and just wait til the alternative stand comes around. Now its L046 or one of the L066 pair once I get the stand situation fi...

Re: Question about L066 "variants"

I had a suspection at first when I got her, but when I got the L260 male next to her its a difference in the markings. The L260 is more thinner and finer in their coloring comparison. Her lines are too thick and far to few in between to pass as a L260. She when put next to the L260 WC male, huge dif...

Andy, do you have suggestions on where I can get a good price on the stand as I've looked online, and everywhere today for the stand but no one had em in for a 29g size. Theres many cases when young bullheads are caught with feeder minnows for the pet trade, same with mix ins of other natives too but nowadays its more regulated. So yes I believe the buddy did purchase it from the pet shop. But the video shows the bullhead to be more silvery tint to it or is my compu...

29G biocube suggestions?

:d a niiiiice garage sale find that I couldn't pass up. Brand new 29g biocube that was collecting dust. Has everything but the stand! never used, still in the plastic wrap. I think the 10,000k lights is an overkill so might switch it out to the 6,700k- still considering the options. My idea was to s...

Willing to trade for more L204 (5''+) L264, L046, grow lights for indoor gardening. (getting into that hobby) I'm about 15-30 minutes drive from six f...

No, NVCichlids got em, and they were laying eggs in the container on his trip home. He was able to successfully breed em so not sure if he still has em or not as he moves on to next species. I would love to get em back if I could but just don't have the space I used to have anymore. Nice cats and ho...

Re: possiblity of hybridization in panaques?

Oh snap not a good news for me. I'll try to work on that tank tonight if I can. My main suspects is the L271 trio but the L397 has always been next to the male L271 caves since day one no matter how many empty caves were out there/rearranging. They always had caves right next to each other. But L226...

I'll donate the half of the cash sale to PCF
