Lol- sorry the train left for that L260, its sitting in someones tank in Milwaukee. Lucky dude was happy to get it at a killer discount. He got my other fish so I'm glad they're in a good home. minimum buy 5 rule is now removed. Can buy 1-17 no matter what the number is. Gotta pick it up at my house...

:d Thanks for the compliment! They're cool to have in a tank. Just my direction has gone into different path. I might end up keeping them all just purely for show purposes.

2 weeks later, I do not see a single snail. Nothing else worked this actually has the best results for this pin sized snails that would not go away. Only time will tell if they're coming out of the sand or the driftwood.

I think they're more of happier fish without the direct light anyways I'm not sure about the water changes in between length vs your feeding regime as I don't know how big of a tank your tank is vs the number of zebs. I don't think theres anything wrong with that if the ratio per tank is really smal...

Re: Ideas needed for Jaguar Catfish tankmates in 55g

I think if you use structure/caves that are large enough to see into and situate them for viewing, combine this with enough time where the fish will get confident in their surroundings you will see the oncinus more than you think. I keep a pair of ancistrus in with mine. Birger Maybe, I hope so :d ...

55gallons is about 200 liters give or take a bit? in my opinion this tank is far too small for Liosomadoras, let alone 5...... Disagree. This is a fish species that is very sensitive with the water parameters I agree on that part however a 55g tank is just fine for a school of L. Oncinus in my opin...

I'm trying to convert a 55g back into an heavily planted tank setup. The temperature will be set at 75 degrees, I might eventually upgrade it to 75g tank or transfer everyone into a 180g tank. The 3%/5%/10%/15% "formulation" is something I see all the time - with an implied statement that the lower percentages aren't effective, but the higher ones are. Clearly this is the same as saying "If you drink a pint of beer, you can't get drunk, but drinking a single shot of whiske...

I've heard other people say that. I don't really understand why the fish gets better if it's not effective... I still think there are better snail-killers. -- Mats The reason why I want this specific "dewormer" due to the fact that it won't harm my babies in the long run. Other snail kill...

Re: Source flubendazole in the United States?

I have used Flubendazole (Kusuri Wormer+) in my tanks, and it hasn't killed snails to any notable degree. It probably depends on what snail it is, but certainly for the snails I have, with the recommended dose for worming the fish, it wasn't killing snails. -- Mats That's why. its very low quality ...

The one I buy from does not have it. They do have FENBENDAZOLE, which may or may not work: 1. close to flubendazole, or 2. for your purposes. Usually drugs from the same family have similar action. http://www.fishchemical.com/ would you please educate us why you think flubendazole will kill snails....

doubts on L270 reverse trio I have

As most of you already know I'm trying to get rid of some hypans species as I downsize the number of tanks I have to avoid crossbreeding/conflicts. At a recent swap meet, one of the "customers" made a passing remark that the L270s I had was not the L270s but a lower xingu species. What? No...

I also have P. Armatulus at 11'' two different looking cats when next to each other.

I am keeping them in a stock tub so tank pictures isn't possible unless I manage to get a 100-125g tank for them which is looking dim at this time :(
