I can't see these images, but if they do not have a large black spot in the dossal but are otherwise reticulated then they are C. sodalis.

Has C. schwartzi ever been spawned in captivity? I can't recall ever seeing that - so hybridization is most unlikely.

Some of the smaller bristlenoses would do quite well in this size of tank. Something like Ancistrus claro . Larger bristlesnoses are too big for this size of tank. A clown pleco would be OK, but they might get too territorial if you try and keep > 1. Personally I would try some Parotocinclus maculic...

Before I moved out, I had been running a UGF for 8 years. You can clean under the plate by sticking a siphon hose right down the uplift and siphoning hard (use a pump if necessary). It's all to do with maintenence and using filters appropriate to the fish and plants you are keeping. I have found UGF...

A few things here:

a) Black USD catfish are very different from regular ones.

b) Black USD cats can be aggressive and cerrtainly grow big.

c) Dophin cats grow bigger than anyone can cope with.

You can also hold down shift when clicking on a link and it will open that in a new window. All said though, the easiest way to send this is to click on the "send to a friend" link on each and every cat-elog page.

You can even send to yourself to see how it works!
