Re: FYI Marineland Stealth Pro heater withdrawl
to me the most important thing is the heater, It's liek you have to have trust that it won't cook them,or stop working and make them too cold, or electrocute you or them or both.

Re: BN Pleco Help?
most BN stay perfectly sized. I do not know about the high end of that temp for a BN.
I think Larry aka apistomaster keeps L134 with discus.
Any hypan would appreciate the warmer temps but unknown on the 86 part of your temp.

anyone else waiting on an IPAD 2 order from Apple?
Just wondered if anyone else wanted to whine with me about how back logged they are. I went to the Apple store and none, for several weeks, then they said you can wait outside at 7 am every day (they open at 10 am) and be in line for one. They get about ten a day supposedly. And I wasn't down with d...

Re: Sand substrate
it is freshwater aquarium sand right? I just use a thin layer, cept where i have plants in then need more to cover their roots, and i put pretty river stones around the plants to help keep them rooted in. A thin layer will help against the gas pockets that can accumulate in sand beds. an inch is goo...

Re: Does anyone use Tahitian moon sand in their tanks w/cori
oh i love that one!! i mixed the sunset gold with the black and some white carib sea and its an awesome colour!!! Most of my fish seem to be more comfortable on a darker substrate, but maybe that's just what they are used to. When I set up a new tank awhile ago and moved them from a black sand tank ...

Re: What to do when the power goes out?
when our power goes out, usually from 1-7 hrs i do the following. I have tons of battery operated air pumps and tons of D batteries on stand by. I put three in each big tank and one in each small tank. I also use these when I transport fish to the fish store for sale since i live about 30 mins away ...

Re: Does anyone use Tahitian moon sand in their tanks w/cori
some people don't like the tahitian moon sand by carib sea tho but I haven't experienced any problems, no barbel erosion seen.
but you can wait for more cory people to come on.
