Brown Spotted Syno and Big-eyed Syno...what are they?

My husband bought these synodontis species cats about a year ago. Great fish, but what are they? The first 4 photos are the same fish, but he would not give me a decent picture. I figures pics from different angles might help with ID>>

The big-eyed syno is Synodontis pleurops and the other is a hybrid (Synodontis sp_hybrid(5)?), with Synodontis decora as one of the parents.
