Adonis with white eyes?

Post by JasonGoneFishing » Sun Feb 26, 2017 10:16 pm

Saw this at the LFS, never seen one with white-ish eyes, think it's a defect or? It's a good 24" and thick.

This is quite often a water quality issue.

If it's a water quality issue and your water is stable, this should clear inside a fortnight. However, if it's physical damage, then it will look like this permanently.

I have seen it caused by overuse of medications at exporters as well. The good thing is that even a blind or partially blind catfish can live out a good life in an aquarium.

He is doing well, the other Adonis didn't care for him and the Blue Eyed didn't want him in the same tank so he is in the 220 with a L25 and L185
