Kim, S-H, H-S Kim & J-Y Park, 2015. A new species of torrent catfish, Liobagrus hyeongsanensis (Teleostei: Siluriformes: Amblycipitidae), from Korea. Zootaxa 4007:267-275.

Translated, the Korean reads: This is a new form of torrent catfish from the Hyeongsan River. It was dubbed "Eastern Torrent Catfish" in an academic journal.... It differs from Torrent Catfish from other regions mainly by being smaller in size.
