Can I ask why this is your favourite? I have been thinking of getting one, but I'd probably never see it, like nearly all my present cats (mainly Synos) cos my giraffe scares everything into hiding!
http://planetcatfish.com/general/genera ... cle_id=351

I guess it's just because of the fishes regal looks, good nature (at least with other species). It's all the things that make me like catfish in one fish.

Jools, I'm gonna pick you up on a point of logic here! You say on your 'My Catfish Top 10' list page:
4. Pyjama Catfish, Synodontis flavitaeniatus, Another Syno! It was a bit of a toss-up between this fellow and Synodontis angelicus for the 4th place spot but this one got it because of its more demure nature.
Why, then, isn't the Synodontis angelicus number 5 in your list? Wouldn't the choice would be between 4th and 5th places in the list, and not 4th and 11th, surely? :?

Good point, however there is some logic to it. In making the list I also wanted to select representatives from different catfish families, so what I am also saying here is I like the genus not just the species...

We still need , , and .

Maybe we could set up CCTV on the homescreen to catch every triple... or maybe we should be patient.

not a new one but my first. For some reason at work (on IE6) the fish stay the same all day, whereas at home (on Firefox) they change. These look a lot better now the transparency issue's been fixed. :)
