The Hypancistrus article by Haakon also provides excellent coverage of the diversity of Xingu Hypancistrus. I do not regret subscribing to Amazonas, they provide excellent, current material.

Thanks. I was rather happy with the final article and pleased that my shout outs to Jools and Heok Hee made it through the editors.
The article came out of time spent with Rachel at conventions in Ohio and Maryland. She also drove down to my place in Virginia from Pennsylvania and we spent a full day together hanging out in my fishroom.

I have also heard a rumor that the European Amazonas will cover a good friend very soon ;-)

Yes, indeed (assuming you meant me)! It's super cool that you were in English Amazonas the same issue I was in German Amazonas. Awesome coincidence given my interview was I think October 2013. I am really looking forward to reading the article Shane!

Cheers!

Jools any way we can see the German article? I had heard they would possibly run the same month. Very cool that they did.

All contents for the new issue listed here...

Sometimes I find it frustrating that different versions of each issue are released.

On another note the Shane writeup and Haakon articles are awesome, but Haakon article has me wondering if I've been crossing two different Porto Do Moz fish though acquired from the same source at the same time.

Anyway, props to all of you!
