As the article states, there is, in my eyes, a huge difference between cannibalism practized by, say lions and frogs. The former knows it is eating an individual of it's own species, the latter does not. FRogs eat anything of the proper size - and I think the same goes for most fishes and reptiles.

For the rest, an interesting overview, with a sinister ending. I wonder though, whether the ending is fully believable
