I do believe the picture in M. cottoides is a match, but I also think there is a post about that picture being "not M. cottoides" somewhere - something about the distribution being way out, or some such.
Ill be going back in December. let me know if you want to go to catch and bring back catfish, cichlids and tetras. that for many places in the country don't require a heater inside. save alot of energy!
lodging,permits, food are about 1500-2000 depending how many go. flights out of LAX are running 900-1300 depending on airlines.
certain fish you bring back can pay for most of your trip. celidochilus pikes, and hoplias can sell for over $100 each!
