LED Light Unit

Post by Martin S »

Purchased from that well known auction site, but found it just wasn't bright emough for my 22" deep tank. If you don't want to grow any of the large leaved plants, then this is a great way to reduce running costs (and heat issues in the summer). It does have a good spread though, unlike my replacement unit that has very narrow optics, but is brighter.

Anyway, the following details are from the auction advert:

Aquarium LED Light Extendable brackets 60cm-80cm 24"-36" white LED 6500K Blue LED 460nm
24"-36" Freshwater Bright LED by Beamswork

The Beamswork Freshwater Bright LED fixture provides a high quality, energy efficient light fixture that replaces the typical single tube fluorescent light. Use the 6500K white LED during the day and the Actinic Blue 460nm LED during the night. The Beamswork LED is a sleek and comtemporary light fixture that will make any other aquarium light look dull. Long lasting LEDs with no bulb replacement required.
Extendable brackets - 24"-36".
Super energy efficient freshwater aquarium lighting. No bulb replacement required.

Features:
* Dimensions - 23.00” x 5.00” x 1.00”
* Brackets add 0.65" in height
* Includes 78 LEDs
* 400 Lumen
* Super energy efficient .06 watt LEDs
* 72x 6500K LEDs
* 6x Actinic 460nm LEDs
* Uses 7 watts
* Slim and contemporary light design
* 2 mode on / off function for day and night use
* Extendable bracket - 24"-36" max extend
* Splash guard
Comes with:
* 1x 24" LED light fixture
* 1x Power supply

It cost me £45 delivered to the UK, but would let it go for £30 plus postage. This is boxed and condition is as new (only been used around a week), so grab a bargain!

Thanks for looking
Martin

Andy
I've got someone already interested who PM'd me, and I'm waiting on them to confirm they are happy with the postage, but if it falls through I shall let you know, as obviously collection is always preferred on items like this.
Should be able to let you know later today.
Cheers
Martin

LED lighting has changed the way we light our homes and work. Each year, more and more people are saving energy by switching to power efficient LED’s. The lower monthly electric bills soon pay for the greater initial cost of LED lighting, and add up to real savings.
