Error messages at bottom of front page

Sorry to report more trouble, but at the bottom of three front page areas (Shane's World, Site Information, and Book Reviews, there is this error message:

I'm seeing these on my Windows phone.

I can't see the error, but made a change which may resolve it. How does it look?

Ah, OK, now I understand where you are seeing the error. These are refreshed ever 15 minutes, I suspect will be OK then.

Near the bottom of the main page (in between the "Explore our YouTube channel..." text and the bottom line of copyright info), there is a stray hashtag symbol. I don't see this on my PC, but I see it on my cell phone. Could this be linked to the error message listed above? Or is it just stray text?

For what it's worth, this existed before you tried your edits yesterday.

I think the main error reported is fixed. I think the stray # symbol may be something to do with an ad-blocker - is that possible?
