Need advice on breeding cave

Post by Juiceyfish »

I am making a slate cave out of some slate I got at a stone store and fabricated up to size and now glueing together with aquarium silicone this is what I got so far ImageImage

Should I add any of these pieces inside? I figure it will give the extra tight space they may want ..... I'm breeding L015, L340, L066, and L169

Here is pics of ideas I had ... Plz let me know if any of these are good ideas before I glue the roof on!

Some advise ASAP would be gret seeing how I'm in the middle of getting this together! Thanks guys

I think adding the divider all the way down the middle would be best.

down the middle or no insert at all. what fish is intended for? the adult size of said fish should dictate your decision.

No inserts at all.

Plecos need tight spaces. When they spawn they are side by side but facing in opposite directions- at least the ones I have caught in the act have been this way. Dividers will mess up things, imo.

Sorry for the poor pic quality-
