L397 moving day hiccup! advice if possible.

Post by pleconut »

Hi folks today is the day of moving my L397s from a snail infested tank to a snail free one it was going to plan until... 2 of the containers sprang a leak containing mature water I'd saved from new tank meaning I've lost most thet water and a spare tank X_X . I was wanting to avoid transfering anything from the tank they are in except them because of the snails so having lost most of my mature water and not wanting to use new tapwater my only option now is to use water from the tank they are in (it would be better for them anyway) is this water if i am really careful likely to contain any traces of snails- eggs etc.

A bit more of a hiccup than I at first thought ... The neighbours below landlord knocked on my door a while ago... need i say any more . :-O It's going to have to be a use of the same water but siphoned through a net directly to the new tank.
Thanks Teresa

Oh no. Sorry Teresa. You're saying the water is leaking through the ceiling/floor?
