L144 breeding question

Post by wicca27 »

i have several bristle nose right now. i have a green long fin and an albino long fin along with 3 L144 blue eyes. i am almost 100% sure the long fins are both female and pretty sure the blue eyes are all males. is it possible for the L144 to breed with the others since they get bigger? i know you can take a larger male and breed with L144 females but didnt know if it worked the other way as well

Should work. They are all the same species but what you are questioning is if it is mechanically possible for that to happen. I think it would work, not that big of a difference in size usually.

well i know the blue eyes only get to be about 4 inches max where as the long fins i know can get 6. i didnt know if a 2 inch difference would matter. when i had a long fin brown male breed with the blue eye female it didnt matter but the male was the big one.

You will get the standard bristlenose if you cross phenotypes sometimes. You can get other color but it depends on who breeds with who. Is your green for sale?
