bristle nose pleco babies albino?

Post by wicca27 »

ok so i thought albino was recessive. um am i wrong in that when it comes to bristle nose? i crossed a green dragon male with a long fin albino female and now that the babies are getting color (still in the cave with yoke) the vast majority is albino. is this common? does it mean the male carries albino genes? can some one give me some general info. i will try to get pics

Your male definitely has albino gene.
Green dragon is marble?

Don't quote me on this as I'm not too familiar with the concept.
But it's something like this:
X=normal/marble gene
Y=albino

your male would be XY
your female would be YY
offsprings would be XY (25%), YY (25%), YY (25%), YY (25%).
