Problems with Ancistrus Super Red

Post by Preacher »

Hello everybody. A couple of months ago I bought some Super Red juveniles. They showed few black spots but as they grew up they ended up in looking like crap. I have attached some photos. Some say, they are not clean super red and the line is bad, while others say it's because of food. I feed them algae wafers from Tetra and Jbl and they also get Tetra Discus that falls from the Endlers. I don't feed them raw vegetables. There is driftwood in the tank. What's your opinion? Should I work some more on them maybe some improvement may show or should I get rid of them and search for another line?
