L160 in Fishpond?

Post by squid »

I have a pair of L160 pleco, current size is about 6-7 inches.
will they survive in fishpond? i have a 2000 gallon arowana pond which has 2 pieces 14 inch or bigger
Gibbicep pleco. do you guys think the L160s can survive in my pond? i dont think they'll be in any danger from the arowanas. but I dont really drop food for my plecos in the pond.
it does get sunlight, pond is somewhat bare bottom with just 2 big PVC tubs for my Gibby to hide in .

what do you guys think? would it be a good idea to throw my L160s into the pond?
water quality in my pond is a lot better than my tanks.

they are quite rowdy in my pleco tank and would go after my other smaller plecos.
do you guys think i can put them with stingrays?

or will they be better off in the pond?

Can you provide more hiding places and decor to break up territories in the pond?

Thanks, I have huge driftwoods and lots of hiding place in my tank.
but during feeding time, they'll chase the other plecos around :D
also I have some small l24s in another tank, a little worried if i add those in.
will L160s kill of other pleco? or just chase them around?

for hiding spots i have lots of them in my tank .

sorry misread his message :)
In my pond i have it almost bare bottom to make cleaning easier.
I have 2 biG PVC pipes, and one flow pot which holds the water lily.

I think i can add a few big driftwoods.
