starving fry?

Post by corywink »

New to breeding and raising fry. I have 5 sterbai fry from the first spawing that is about 1 cm big, they look healthy enough but they will only eat microworms and whiteworms. I'm trying to switch them over to dried foods such as decapsulated brine shrimp eggs, but they show no interest. Is it safe to starve them a bit?

yeah I read it, I'm not dealing with newly hatched fry that have just become free swimming, these guys are a few weeks old and are big enough to eat tiny white worms. I'm trying to switch them over to dried foods but they show no interest.

Have you tried either Tetra tabimin or Aquarian catfish tablets, I use these as a stale diet and use live foods as supplements.
