Video of my pygmys in T position...

Post by corycrazy »

I got lucky earlier and by pure chance i had my camera on me trying to catch pics of the pygmy fry, anyhows has i was sat there watching the tank, the pygmys came to the front quivering,i realised they maybe in breeding mode,so quickly knocked the camera into video mode...
This video is one of a few i took of them, and shows the pygmys in T position... you will see them becoming active, then a female goes upto the plant cleaning it ready for spawning,i then move away briefly, when the female is back in shot you will see them perform the T position ,after this you will see the female go back up to the plant and lay an egg,i was amazed to watch this has they're normally quite shy and hide behind the plants
I can see a few eggs dotted about, but the plants are quite bushy, and i've spotted new smaller fry yesterday,so it good to think that their tank change over hasn't upset them too much :D
