c. trilineatus miscolor - black
I have 3 Trili Corys, and most of them are a light grey color, but one of them has turned almost a black/dark grey color. Why is this happening??

Re: c. trilineatus miscolor - black
Sorry about the late reply but I've only just joined the forum. If you're stilled interested I have a suggestion. I had some cories (triline & panda) that I had on a black substrate. They turned very dark. I don't know if it was a camouflage reaction or the black sand (Caribsea Tahitian Moon Sand) just made them dirty? When I moved them to a tank with light sand (Caribsea Sunset Gold), they lightened up again. It would have taken a few days to change. Maybe your triline is reacting to the black in the substrate or it's just a colour variation in the species? Hope it's nothing more sinister than that.

That's great. I'd love to read them but being a newbie to the site I'm having trouble finding them. The key words I searched didn't come up with anything (or too much). Any help would be appreciated. There have been more threads about this !!
