Looking for a cory with a distinct pattern...

Post by catfishchaos »

Hey guys I have a 55 gallon and im looking to have a group of 6 corydoras. Im looking for one of a decent size (2 inches) and relatively easy to breed and find but not totally mainstream. Bold patterns that look nice in such groups would be ideal. Ive looked through all the listed C-numbers I could find but still have to find that fish. PH will between 6.8-7 and temp about 75-78

yes I tried the search....

thanks everyone!

What species are actually physically available in your area? It can be disappointing getting your heart set on some unobtainable species.

I recently got some oiapoquensis which are beautiful. Maybe hard to find though.

Those look spectacular but I'd be surprised if there where any in canada :((

On that note is this fish really known as C.pulcher? I really like the look and size of this species but I cant find info on them here.

this video shows the fish... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNkaMN83pM4

But at first glance that doesn't look the same. Hopefully a Cory ID expert will be along soon :)

Not a Cory ID expert, but take a look at this:

http://www.fishforums.net/index.php?/to ... s-pulcher/

I have 6 C. pulcher and in my opinion they are one of the most beautiful Corys.
