What kind of Cory?

Post by TomSerious »

Hello!

I bought 25 Corydoras yesterday and my trusted LFS guy told me, that they were sold to him as "funny looking" Corydoras sterbai.

Some of them definitely look like sterbai, but some don't.
They have the typical orange pectoral fins, but some have only a few lines and something more like dots.

Following a picture, all of the Corydoras on the picture were sold to me as the same (I bought them all: 25 fish).
The ones that are definitely sterbai, colored up already. The "ones with dots" are still pale (keep in mind, it's only their second day in the tank).

Which species do you think they are? Are they maybe Haraldschultzi?

looks right to me, especially if they have orange fins like your sterbai.

Cool!
