They're doing fine!
They went straight from the wholsesalersbag into separate bags and spend quite some time hidden away in
a styrofoambox in the hood of my car.
I'm very pleased with them.

can you see any difference in males and females?
at this size it should be visible at the anal fin:

difference in shape
difference in size
or
difference in color

half their adult size should do the trick; at that size most Auchenipterids start to show differences....

I know neither size nor source, but here's a picture of a male:

I think these show somewhat later than at half size, but reckon sexing should be possible from 8 cms and on.
Sofar all specimens I've seen were still to small to sex.
Btw: due to the white sand and a lack of hiding places, this specimen looks pale.

That's a clear image, though. I now know where to look for, although mine are probably too small to sex.
Yesterday they all looked female to my untrained eye.

An hour ago 1 Ageneiosus seemed to be stuck in the inlet of biofilter.
It looked like it wasn't able to swim away from the current.

That totally freaked me out.

The pump is running slower now so I hope that's fixing the problem.
If not: Ageneiosus isn't here to stay and are going to Eindhoven or some other safer place.

No, the mesh is too narrow for an Ageneiosus to be pulled through. But the fish was laying on its side against it. When I tried to get it away from there it looked like it couldn't because of the current.
I think it even damaged the fish a bit.

I fixed the thingy with the mesh and heightened it as well so no fish can jump over it in the future.

The Ageneiosus are swimming in the current right now. I haven't actually spotted them feeding yet. Ituglanis and Tatia intermedia are gluttons. How is that with your tank? Do the delphins have the oppotunity to find food?

Yes . No, of course not .
But that gives Arjan 2 extra tasks: can you measure them, for now I would really like to know their size so I can add this info to the data sheet.
Plus: can you have a look if there are more males in your group?

@ Arjan: my 2 specimens in the small tank have no food competitors (so no problems) and the 2 in the large tank were even capable of getting food when the tank still included my larger woodcats + Triportheus + Markiana. I wouldn't worry a bit!
