It is from Rio Nanay.

Will this help with ID? I don't think it's a Bagridae.

It's indeed a member from the Pseudopimelodidae

Have a look at Cephalosilurus and Batrochoglanis
Just click the links to see all members of these genera.

Bagridae are indeed not in Rio Nanay. Not sure which one, but have a look at Pseudopimelodidae. (See also what Marc says!)

It's around 9 to 10 inch. B. villosus is only around 6 inch right?

No, I've had a villosus that was at least 7 and a friend in the Catfish Study Group had one even bigger.

If I had to pick between a B. Villosus and some Cephalosilurus, I'd pick the former but the size, tentatively, points to the latter.

BTW, Cephalosilurus species are very hard to ID, IME. See a sample (starts with 2nd post on this page) viewtopic.php?f=25&t=29488&hilit=+pet+catfish&start=80... and then look up the reply/input on Waterwolves by Wolfgang, an acknowledged expert, linked in my last post.

In Cephalosilurus the lower jaw is longer than the upper, whereas in Batrochoglanis they are equal or the upper jaw is longer. IMO this is a Batrochoglanis.

It depends on the specific T&C's of the website - they can be whatever they like. The default position can be argued as mutual copyright. That's to say you own it (and can post it where you like) and the site also owns it (and can do with it as they will). But, for the avoidance of doubt, read the T&Cs...

but if the reply on the Waterwolves-forum is written by you, you are the author and you own what you create.

there's no law forbidding you to post your own 1 story or reply on 2 fora.
so yes, you can put it up here as well

it's a different thing if you copy n paste an entire topic with replies from other people though.

then the other forum does have a fair case to protest.

And you are allowed to quote other peoples copyrighted text "for purposes of criticism or comment" under "fair use". This of course, does not mean that you can reprint all of John Grisham's novels with a simple comment of "I think this book is great"... It needs to be relevant to show your comment/criticism.
