Now me being me am always on the lookout for a new better filter.

These stood out a little as now all magnetic in fittings so no suckers. The modular design also looked interesting.

Hi all,

Agreed sucker "suck", or more correctly "don't suck".

If I use an internal filter, I use a <"large sponge block, powerhead and white tile"> the advantage of these are that they are self supporting. I buy the 12" x 4" x 4" sponge blocks from "Koi Carp" places. The advantage is that you can cut the sponge into sections if you don't want to clean it all at once.

For those in the USA, <"our sponsor"> sells similar blocks.
