    Introduction

    PlanetCatfish.com is part of the Aquatic Republic Network (ARN) group of websites.

    A great many people are involved in the continual growth of these sites. Equally great effort is taken to ensure that these contributors are credited and their work should not be undermined by careless piracy or malicious theft. All ARN sites are free; please don't abuse them, be moral, even contribute; but your adherence to the following terms will help keep them free. If you can't be bothered reading them all know that, by using the site in any capacity, then you fully agree to the terms. Furthermore, all images and text published within any ARN domain are Copyright ©. No material may be reproduced anywhere, by any means, without written specific consent from the owner.

    Access to and use of any ARN website, globally, is provided soley on the following terms:

  1. By using any ARN website you agree to be bound by these terms, which shall take effect immediately on your first use of any ARN website. If you do not agree to be bound by all of the following terms please do not access, use and/or contribute to any ARN website.

    17. ARN forums

  17. In order to participate in and contribute to the any ARN website forum you are required to register with any ARN website.
  18. You agree to use any ARN website forum in accordance with the following Community rules.
    1. About your contributions (posts, data entered etc)
      1. Contributions must be civil and tasteful.
      2. No disruptive, offensive or abusive behaviour: contributions must be constructive and polite, not mean-spirited or contributed with the intention of causing trouble.
      3. No unlawful or objectionable content: unlawful, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, racially offensive or otherwise objectionable material is not acceptable. Don't be a troll.
      4. Be patient: users of all ages, nationalities and abilities may be taking part.
      5. No spamming or off-topic material: we don't allow the submission of the same or very similar contributions many times. Please don't re-submit your contribution to more than one discussion, or contribute off-topic material in subject-specific areas.
      6. No unsolicitied advertising or promoting.
      7. Contributions containing languages other than English may be removed unless allowed in the relevant local forum.
      8. No impersonation.
      9. No inappropriate (e.g. vulgar, offensive etc) user names.
      10. URLs (web site addresses) can only be posted if relevant to the topic, post or poster. This includes signatures.
      11. Deliberate misuse of the complaints facility is not permitted. If you persist in doing this, action may be taken against your account.
    2. Your ARN website account
      1. If you use multiple logins for the purpose of disrupting a community or annoying other users you may have action taken against all of your accounts.
      2. All accounts must be registered with a valid personal email address that you access regularly so that update, confirmation and moderation emails can be sent to you. Accounts registered with someone else's email address, or with temporary email addresses may be closed without notice. We may require users to re-validate their account if we believe they have been using an invalid email address.
      3. any ARN website reserves the right to close accounts if any user is seen to be using proxy IPs (Internet Protocol addresses) in order to attempt to hide the use of multiple any ARN website accounts or disrupts any of our services in any way.
    3. Safety
      We advise that you never reveal any personal information about yourself or anyone else (for example: telephone number, postal address, home address or email address or any other details that would allow you to be personally identified) in any part of any ARN website.
    4. Legal requirements
      1. You may not submit or share any defamatory or illegal material of any nature in any ARN website communities. This includes text, graphics, video, programs or audio.

    23. General

  23. If any of these terms are determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable by reason of the laws of any state or country in which these terms are intended to be effective, then to the extent and within the jurisdiction in which that term is illegal, invalid or unenforceable, it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and the remaining terms shall survive and continue to be binding and enforceable.
  24. The failure or delay of any ARN website to exercise or enforce any right in these terms does not waive any ARN website's right to enforce that right.
  25. These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with Scots Law which shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
