Scientific Name Neosilurus pseudospinosus  Allen & Feinberg, 1998
Common Name Bulloo False-Spined Catfish
Type Locality A rocky pool of Ord River on Old Lissadel Station, Kimberley District, Western Australia, about 16°40'S, 128°83'E.
Pronunciation Nee oh see loo russ - sevdo spin oh suss.
Etymology The generic name comes from the Latin neo, meaning new and Silurus, a catfish name frequently used to form generic names.

Size 300mm or 11.8" SL. Find near, nearer or same sized spp.
Identification It is only known by two specimens from Central Australia that were collected in 1974 from the Bulloo River (Australian Museum records).
