Common Names	White Striped Cory Hvidstribet Pansermalle (Denmark)
Type Locality	Chené, Santiesteban, Santa Cruz Dept., Bolivia
Pronunciation	kor ee doh rass (lineage five).
Etymology	Cory = helmet, doras = skin. In this case it was incorrectly used to mean armour (cuirasse) instead of skin in allusion to the dual rows of plates that run along the flanks of this genus. This specific epithet refers to the specimen's two (bi=two) whitish lines (lineatus=line)that appear between black pigmented areas.
