Overview | The first spawn was on Friday 11th of May 2018. The breeding group consisted of 2 males and 1 female. The smallest male was at least 60mm SL and the smallest female was at least 70mm SL. The youngest adult was approximately 12 months old. The individuals were obtained from MA IOW. |

Breeding |
Behaviour | Spawned over 3 days, largest spawn being night of rain. Eggs laid all over glass in clumps of 8-10 plus more in smaller groups. Also laid on filter, cable, plants and floating plant. Female did not look particularly gravid. |
Eggs | There were 110 pale cream eggs laid which were 2.0mm in diameter. |
Segregation | Moved eggs to a tumbler. Parents returned to community tank where they spawned again. |
