Down Basics
Overview The first spawn was on Monday 28th of May 2018. The breeding group consisted of 1 male and 1 female. The smallest male was at least 100mm SL and the smallest female was at least 120mm SL. The youngest adult was approximately 12 months old. The individuals were obtained from Private seller.
Further spawns Thursday 5th of July 2018, Monday 10th of September 2018, Tuesday 15th of January 2019, Friday 8th of March 2019, Sunday 5th of May 2019, Thursday 16th of May 2019, Thursday 1st of August 2019, Thursday 3rd of October 2019, Monday 17th of February 2020, Monday 20th of April 2020. 10 in total.

1.Fresh Cucumber (live) few times a week

Dimensions The aquarium dimensions were 762mm x 305mm x 457mm (30" x 12" x 18") all Length x Width x Height.
Furniture Bare bottom tank and 2 pieces of driftwood. 5 breeding caves 4 are different styles of caves.
Filtration Air powered BF-1 bio foam filter and a air powered filter stuck on back wall.
Lighting 3ft Aqua Zonic LED.
Heating 200w Aqua one set on 26 degrees.
Down Breeding
Behaviour Female went in cave the male trapped her until she laid the eggs then the male guarded and fanned for 3 - 4 days. after 10 - 14 days fry were out and swimming.
Eggs There were 50 yellow eggs laid which were 2.0mm in diameter.

Segregation Yes, i took fry out after a few weeks and let them grow out in a 2 foot tank. But maybe i will try a different way in the future because i have had some deaths. Maybe it shocks them or the water they move to could be different.
