Down Basics
Overview The first spawn was on Tuesday 15th of February 2022. The breeding group consisted of 2 males and 2 females. The smallest male was at least 60mm SL and the smallest female was at least 80mm SL. The youngest adult was approximately 48 months old. The individuals were obtained from Local auction.

1.High Quality Pellets (dry / prepared) daily

pH 6.90 to 7.00
Temperature 25.0°C to 25.5°C

Other Water Params Water had not been changed for 3 to 4 weeks. feeding included prepared and live. ph. stated may not be correct. wasn't planning to try to breed these yet but they did.

Dimensions The aquarium dimensions were 762mm x 304mm x 550mm (30" x 12" x 21.7") all Length x Width x Height.
Furniture Plenty of caves and creases in natural bogwood. freshwater sea weed everywhere
Filtration 1 large sponge filter and a strong power filter positioned on the bottom.
Lighting Fluval aquasky
Heating 200w betta
Down Breeding
Behaviour Did not see it happen, but i did see some 'breeding' behaviour abut 4 weeks ago.
Eggs There were 31 clear eggs laid which were 3.0mm in diameter.
