Overview | The first spawn was on Tuesday 20th of December 2022. The breeding group consisted of 3 males and 3 females. Additionally, there were 6 unknown individuals present. The smallest male was at least 6mm SL and the smallest female was at least 5mm SL. The youngest adult was approximately 1 month old. The individuals were obtained from Fish club member. |

Breeding |
Behaviour | Very peaceful fish that stay very small for a pleco. Had 12 caves in the aquarium and the two largest males in the tank both picked 1" round caves for their first spawns. Typical Pleco trapping. Left space between the caves so the females could lay along side the cave until they were ready to enter. |
Eggs | There were 30 yellow eggs laid which were 0.0mm in diameter. |

Segregation | Pulled the cave once the fry had absorbed their egg sac. The male came out right away. Dumped the fry into a grow out tank with other pleco fry. Doing great a few days later. |
