Overview | The first spawn was on Saturday 2nd of September 2023. The breeding group consisted of 3 males and 3 females. The smallest male was at least 32mm SL and the smallest female was at least 32mm SL. The individuals were obtained from Dan's Fish (online). |

Breeding |
Behaviour | Female vigorously cleaning underside of leaf (bacopa or cryptocoryne). Male comes in upside down as well, swimming in front against the head and they slide into a "T" position.
Some eggs were laid on underside of leaves and some on top of leaves. Nearly all of them were near the bottom of the tank. |
Eggs | There were 10 yellow eggs laid which were 2.0mm in diameter. |

Fry and juvenile feeding | Fed with repashy powder and had some bacopa caroliniana stems in fry tank. They were able to suck on surfaces immediately and fed that way after yolk sack depleted. |
