Overview | The first spawn was on Saturday 24th of March 2012. The breeding group consisted of 5 males and 1 female. The smallest male was at least 115mm SL and the smallest female was at least 100mm SL. The youngest adult was approximately 24 months old. The individuals were obtained from Wild Caught. |

Behaviour | Typucal hypancistrus spawning behavior. Trappings went as long as 3 days. Male care for eggs and fry until they emerged from cave. |
