Overview | The first spawn was on Sunday 24th of July 2011. The breeding group consisted of 1 male and 1 female. The smallest male was at least 100mm SL and the smallest female was at least 90mm SL. The youngest adult was approximately 1 month old. The individuals were obtained from German. |

Breeding |
Behaviour | Male chose a slate cave on second spawn the fist spawn was in a clay closed ended tube. Female left after laying eggs the father hovered over the eggs for about a week or so. Both spawns occurred in a dark environment. |
Eggs | There were 36 green to golden eggs laid which were 2.0mm in diameter. |

Segregation | On second spawn I removed the father along with the eggs to a 10 gallon setup with a Emperor 400 biowheel attached, a 150 watt heater and an airstone along with plants and driftwood. The female was left in the main tank |
